Two more hats

Since our baby will be born in February, he’ll be wearing hats all the time the first couple months, especially if we’re still living in San Francisco. I’ve been having fun knitting for him as you can tell!

Como nuestro hijo nace en febrero, le pondremos gorritos mucho los primeros meses, sobre todo si seguimos viviendo en San Francisco. Estoy disfrutando mucho hacerle cositas como podeis ver!

He empezado un gorrito para este niño y estoy muy contenta. Ahora en todos mis momentos libres solo me apatece hacer punto!

Proyecto Acabado

Esta es la manta que he hecho para la hija de mi amiga. La he hacabado hoy y estoy muy contenta con como ha quedado! Tengo muchas ganas de darsela el fin de semana que viene… Hasta hice una bolsita con restos que quedaban de la tela para regalar la manta–y guardarla!

Memoria Visual de una Nación

After work the other night I took a ride on the subway to see Santiago’s “MetroArte”. I had noticed paintings and sculptures in several stations as I explored the city on Sunday, and I later discovered a section about it in my guidebook, recommending it as an easy way to see contemporary Chilean art. Line One in particular has art in nearly every station, and since work finishes late, it was a good way of seeing more of the city late in the evening after all the other museums are closed.
